A New Series

I am doing an inspiring series of interviews called “Do You Feel Different From Other Christians? Your Greatest Weaknesses Might Be Clues to Your Created Purpose.”

Read the post that lays the foundation for this series of interviews.

I will be interviewing some respected Christians who express their love for and relationship with God in ways for which there is often little cultural understanding. Most of these interviews will be available as:

• video,
• audio,
• and written transcript.

I’ll send the links to you in your email as they become available. You will be able to watch the videos on my site or download them to your own computer.

My hope is that you may recognize something in one of them that is similar to something in you and find a new way of looking at yourself. Or that these individuals’ courage in embracing their gifts in the midst of their weaknesses will encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to take you on your own unique out-of-the-box journey.

Jesus As A Model

And remember that Jesus — without ever being rebellious or unloving, without explaining Himself to people, and without apologizing for who He was — lived a life outside the cultural norm.

The first video is with Jen, a highly sensitive, highly gifted, highly emotional outdoorswoman and occupational therapist. Some of the clues to her hidden gifts are:

• Clue #1: “I was never good at being still.”
• Clue #2: ”Verbally praying for somebody is really challenging.”
• Clue #3: ”Communication with others is one of the biggest areas I struggle with.”
• Clue #4: ”I get all these random pictures in my head that make absolutely no sense.”
