God Loves You Dearly. Yes, You.

Just a reminder that God loves you dearly. Just like you are. There’s nothing you can do to make Him love you more or to make Him love you less. He just loves. It’s Who He Is.
He will never interact with you apart from His warm, loving regard. He is unutterably kind and tender with His highly sensitive ones.
Why is He like this with us? Because of Jesus. Because Jesus made things right with God on our behalf, and when we partake of Jesus, we too have peace with God.
If you don’t know God like this yet, I pray you may begin your journey into this comforting relationship.
Be blessed!

Just a reminder that God loves you dearly. Yes, you. Yeah, her too, but you. You. Just like you are. There’s nothing you can do to make Him love you more or to make Him love you less. He just loves. It’s Who He Is. And you’re the target of that love.

He will never interact with you apart from His warm, loving regard. And because He created you highly sensitive, He will always interact with you in a sensitive way. He is unutterably kind and tender with His highly sensitive ones.

Why is He like this with us? Because of Jesus. Because Jesus made things right with God on our behalf. And when we partake of Jesus, we too have peace with God.

If you don’t know God like this yet, I pray you may begin your journey into this comforting relationship.

Be blessed!

Thank you Gail…….those were the words I needed to hear, right now. My, God has blessed you richly!!! Praise be His Holy name. I still struggle with “if I’m good then Jesus loves me. If I mess up, uh, maybe He does not love me so much now”. No, that is not how Jesus is!!! Thank you for reminding me. Blessed are you!!! Thank you, for you are a blessing to me. Mae Woods.

Hi Mae,

I’m glad you were encouraged. So was I :-)

By the way, I took a 2-day silk painting class in Santa Fe from your sister in early August. Rocked my world! And I’ve been painting up a storm since.

Blessings on you and your family.
Gail

Thanks, Gail, for the uplifting reminder of God’s gentleness and tenderness in the midst of our often nervewracking life. As I go along this journey, I sense the Holy Spirit teaching me bit by bit about hearing the voice of the Good Shepherd.

Before I began to know the truth of who God really was, and while I was seeing Him as “The God of Mt. Sinai”, I would often think my churning feelings or slightly skewed intuition was his voice. Often the things I thought and felt would come to pass, and I thought that must be God. Often those things were accompanied with a great deal of apprehension and fear- just waiting “for the other shoe to drop” and thinking God was somehow “preparing” me for disaster by giving me these thoughts ahead of time.

The Holy Spirit seems to be pointing out to me that if that had truly been the voice of my Good Shepherd, His voice would NOT be accompanied by the feeling that I was a wild galloping horse, nostrils flared, a ripping tearing cougar with claws firmly embedded, riding on my back. I’m beginning to see that our enemy loves to come at us from all angles and try to impersonate the Good Shepherd- but when the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to what He is really like (and only the Holy Spirit can do that – no amount of Bible reading or going to seminars cuts the mustard) it is easier to see the lies and stand against them.

So thanks again, Gail, for the reminder of our Father’s great love and that He leads us as a Shepherd. He is never a pouncing, clawing predator of fear- for His perfect love casts out that fear.

Gail, thanks for the reminder. For much too long, I grew up with the belief that God was all brimstone and fire and would strike us down at any moment for our sins. What a disservice it has been to our spiritual growth that some still teach this! Although I still cling onto some of those old beliefs – old beliefs are hard to let go of! – I am becoming more and more accepting of a loving, kind, gentle, tender God. Who knew that would be such a struggle to accept!

I hope to REALLY experience this kind of love. Too often, I think I have to perform for God, especially in the witnessing-for-Him capacity. I’m S L O W L Y learning it’s not about performance. (I grew up with a legalistic/performance orientation.) VERY hard to break out of this, but I’m making progress. It’s good to break out of this, because the other way is just too painful an existence. Thank you.

BluWhiskers, your words brought tears to my eyes, as I too, grew up with a legalistic/performance-based view of God. And yes, it is hard to break out from under that type of belief, but it is possible. We have been set free by Christ’s blood. Going back to the old way of thinking only enslaves us all over again.
